Sharon Callaghan hangs out her web shingle

If you're in the genealogy business, serious about having more than a casual involvement, or even just putting out cousin bait, a personal website is a must. I have one at johndreid.com -- sadly neglected but it does the job.

Montreal genealogist Sharon Callaghan has just installed her own site at https://sharoncallaghan.wordpress.com/. I'm glad to give it a shout out.
Go there and you'll see Sharon will be a speaker at the OGS conference in Ottawa this June. Her topic is Quebec Notary Records, something that has become more prominent recently with their appearance on Ancestry.
You can read one of Sharon's articles Genealogy Clues-Know Your Sources published in Anglo-Celtic Roots, Volume 17, Number 4, 2011.

Great news! I've learned a lot about the Quebec Notary Records from Ms Callaghan. You will want to attend her lecture at the OGS conference.

The issue of Anglo Celtic Roots (ACR) that you mention is available to anyone online at: http://www.bifhsgo.ca/clist.php?nm=108 In fact, all BIFHSGO's back issues of the ACR, barring the most recent year, are available to the public on their website, all containing interesting articles.
